Drama Workshop: Whose Lives Are They Anyway - A Workshop on Romeo and Juliet

Artspace Festival - Drama WorkshopA gentle drama workshop which does not require knowledge of the play, Romeo and Juliet.

The workshop is for secondary teachers and others with an interest in Shakespeare and how it can be explored in secondary schools through drama, as well as those who simply are interested in spending some time with Shakespeare. 

Judith Ackroyd, an internationally-known scholar-practitioner, will lead this practical drama workshop.  It draws upon a chapter from her book for teachers, Key Shakespeare Book 1, published by Hodder & Stoughton.
