Walk & Talk: The Regent and His Park

Part of the Regent's College Artspace Festival

Wednesday 24 March, 2.00-5.00pm in  Darwin 05

Artspace Festival - Regent's ParkRegent's College prizes its location in the Royal Park - but how much do we know about the creation of this green space in the heart of the city, and about the flamboyant and controversial prince whose title gives both park and college their names?

These questions will be examined in talks by two lecturers from the Humanities programme at Regent’s American College London; Victoria Gardner, historian of the press, and David Brady, architectural historian.

Refreshments will be provided, and after the talks, David will lead a walk to explore some of the features of the park in (we hope) the Spring sunshine.

Participants are welcome to all, or any part, of this afternoon programme.

"Production is a profoundly collaborative team process and any model that forces (people) to form a team and work together to make a film has to be good. I really think this practical element, even if just making a very simple short piece, is a huge plus to the course."
