Welcome to the London School of Film, Media and
Performance
I am
delighted to welcome you to the London School of Film, Media &
Performance here at Regent’s College, one of four schools within
the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social
Sciences.
Regent’s College provides a unique educational experience in the
beautiful surroundings of Regent’s Park in the heart of London and
in the heart of one of the major media and creative centres in
the world.
This is the only campus in the UK to be located on crown estate;
it not only has listed buildings, but wonderful opportunities
for the body of students who study here. They come from over
85 countries and together they create a stimulating and exciting
international community, and we seek to give them a unique
experience that will prepare them for the global world.
The new School of Film, Media & Performance offers its
students innovative, challenging and highly creative media and
production programmes which bring together theoretical
understanding and practical, hands-on experience, and which offer a
combination of creativity and strong business sense to ensure our
graduates are excellently prepared for employment. And, of
course, this programme of study exploits the wonderful
opportunities that this city and world centre for the creative
industries affords.
The staff are committed to providing our students with a top
quality learning experience, in small groups and with excellent
close attention and guidance, and the College provides all the
resources to support this.
During your time here, you will enjoy a close partnership with
your colleagues on the programme and with the tutors who will guide
and support your learning. We want you to get the maximum
