Entry Requirements

Foundation Certificate in Acting

  • Five GCSE/IGCSE subjects or equivalent with grades A-C, including English
  • Or other international qualifications equivalent to the British General Certificates of Secondary Education (GCSEs), as recommended by the National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC).
  • For those applicants whose mother tongue is not English, we require a recent pass of IELTS (minimum 5.5).  Equivalent English qualifications will also be considered.

General Entry Requirements for BA Hons Programmes

  • Students must have five GCSE/IGCSE subjects or equivalent with grades A-C, including Maths and English, and two A levels minimum grades C or above.
  • Or other international qualifications accepted as fulfilling British University requirements, as recommended by the National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC).
  • For those applicants whose mother tongue is not English, we require a recent pass of IELTS (minimum 6.0).  Equivalent English qualifications will also be considered.

BA Hons Acting and Global Theatre

  • For students that are able to travel to London, they will be subject to an audition at Regent's College.
  • For those who are unable to come to London, they will be asked to produce a DVD portfolio in replacement of their audition.  Guidelines are currently being produced for this.

MA Writing for Screen and Stage

  • Minimum of a lower second class UK Honours undergraduate degree, or its international equivalent, in any discipline, from a recognised institution (NARIC)
  • For those applicants whose mother tongue is not English, we require a recent pass of IELTS score 6.5. Equivalent English qualifications will also be considered.
  • Students will need to produce a written essay about their past experiences in Screenwriting. Guidelines are currently being produced for this.
