2015 Conference

The 2nd Annual Youth Model United Nations Conference

Saturday & Sunday 4th and 5th July 2015

This year's conference will address some of the most pressing and rising concerns on the Agenda of the United Nations.  The world has witnessed a number of rising threats in the past year, from the advent of terrorist organisations that are more powerful than ever, the tragic outbreak of Ebola in West Africa, to the continuation of the conflict in Syria and across the Middle East.  We are also living in a world where new technologies are playing and ever greater role in our daily lives, and where there is an untapped potential in empowering global youth.

This year you will examine urgent crises, but you will also explore innovative and creative opportunities for furthering the aims and principles of the United Nations.

Therefore, the theme of this 2015 Conference is:

"Engaging Civil Society"
