Professional Biography

Dr rer nat, DiplChem, DipExCounsPsych, AdvDipExPsych, UKCP Reg.

Brigitte is an existential-phenomenological psychotherapist working in the public sector and in private practice. Coming from a background in physico-chemistry she worked for several years in research and as an assistant teacher at a University in Germany, where she was awarded a doctorate in natural sciences (PhD level equivalent). She has worked both in the NHS and for several years with an HIV and sexual health charity. She also works in private practice. Her particular interests are in working with issues around sexuality and gender and questions around identity and home.
