Professional Biography

Since qualifying in 2002 Jan has worked in four NHS departments as Adult Psychotherapist and taught the theory and practice of psychotherapy and counselling at a number of training colleges. He is a Senior Accredited Psychotherapist with the BACP.

He has a particular interest in the life and work of both Thomas Szasz and R.D Laing as well as in the history and development of existential psychotherapy in Britain and the United States.

Jan is currently embarking on training in group analysis and has a particular interest in existential group work.
