Professional Biography

Oliver leads on several core modules which specialise in employability and academic skills within the Business and Management Faculty at Regent’s.  These include Personal Impact (level 3), Academic Environment (level 4) and Personal Development Planning (level 5).   He also facilitates on the campus-wide module Global Perspectives.

After gaining an MA in Online and Distance Education in 2016, Oliver was seconded to the Regents Head of Academic Practice at Regents, Professor Mark Allinson. In this role, Oliver’s main success has been to develop an online module for the  PGCHE programme.  He mentors across the PGCHE and regularly serves on HEA application panels.  He has delivered workshops at the Regents Learning and Teaching Conference and Forum and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Originally graduating in languages and management, Oliver has experience in a niche retail sector in the UK.  He has lived in France and Germany, teaching Business English to executives and tailoring in-company courses.  He is a former Director of Studies at the English Languages Institute within Regents University London
