Professional Biography

Sylvie’s background is in Human Computer Interaction, E-Learning and Systems Design. She has conducted extensive research into enhancing learning and creativity mediated through technology in the classroom context. She completed a BA (Hons) in Business Information Systems and an MSc in Business Computing at the University of Northampton. She obtained her PhD from the Knowledge Media Institute at The Open University in the area of Human Computer Interaction.

Sylvie has led and taught on a variety of courses at both FE and HE levels and has a wealth of industry experience in the areas of; System Design, Web Development and Project Management. She is a Registered Prince2 Practitioner in Project Management and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Sylvie currently leads modules at Regent's University London in Web Design, Human Computer Interaction and Artificial Intelligence. She is also the Department Research Leader in the AFE Department and heads the Special Interest Group in Creativity Research.
