Academic/Professional service
Dr Simon O’Leary is a Fellow of the Royal Society of
Chemistry (FRSC), a Fellow of the Energy Institute (FEI), a Fellow
of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and President for his MBA
cohort on the Cranfield Management Association.
Biography
Dr O’Leary joined Regent's College
in 2011. He has been teaching a variety of modules in the Faculty
of Business & Management and supervising undergraduate and
postgraduate dissertations and consultancy projects. On the
academic side, Simon previously worked for five years as a visiting
lecturer at the University of Kent Business School. His industry
experience covers 25 years and includes international roles with
several multinationals in the energy sector (Exxon, Burmah Castrol,
British Gas), in life sciences (Pfizer, Steris) and in professional
services (Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer). He represented Great
Britain at the age group World Triathlon Championships in 2009.
