1st Regent's College International Week

European Week 2008

European Week PosterThe first edition of the International Week organised by the International Partnerships Office (IPO) was held between 7th April and 11th April 2008 in order to celebrate Europe’s identity in the 21st century. All the activities took place on the entire campus of Regent's College.

European Week aimed to raise awareness of Europe's linguistic and cultural richness and provide intercultural dialogue between students and staff whilst learning about our European partner universities. Moreover, this week gave our partners the chance to meet Regent's College's students at our European Study Abroad Fair and discuss study opportunities available at their institution.

" Looking back at my year in London, I must say I made a wise selection. Webster is not just a university; determined students can gain from their study period in various ways. Every hour in class is a possibility to learn not only from the professor but also from your fellow classmates, who come from every corner of the world bringing their own mindsets and diverse experience with them. Assignments are designed to approximate real life challenges, the relationship student – staff is on a very personal basis, an open door policy is self-evident and social contacts amongst students are promoted through regular events organised by staff and student’s government."
