Access around Regent's College
Herringham Building

A level, slightly sloping pathway leads to the front of the Main Entrance to the College.

There are 4 small steps into the Main Entrance (with handrails).  For wheelchair users there is a platform lift on the left of the flight of steps, available for independent use:

The Security Office is situated on the right, just after the steps. The College Bookshop is situated to the left, just after the glass sliding doors.

Main Reception:

The counter is at two different heights, allowing for anyone requiring low level access to speak with a staff member. The swipe card barriers are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair:

Wheelchair accessible toilet:

The nearest accessible toilet (pictured on left) is located to the left of Main Reception, through the double doors and on the right, just before reaching the Tate Library. An additional toilet is located in Herringham basement (pictured on right). Herringham wheelchair accessible toilet

Knapp Gallery is situated to the left of Main Reception.

Herringham Hall is situated to the right of Main Reception.

Herringham Lift:

Turn right after entering Main Reception. Go through the doors on the right, where the stairs are located. The lift is on the right. Please be aware that the lift is not wide enough to accommodate standard wheelchairs. The lift and stairs provide access to the basement, first and second floor. Alternative wheelchair access to the basement is via the lift from Jebb Building. Swipe card access is required for this - please ask at Main Reception.
