Regent’s students are unusually entrepreneurial and many want to set up a business of their own instead of finding employment. Here our support will steer their market research and mentor their progress. Where possible we may also connect them with established entrepreneurs and alumni whose expertise can assist them in making better decisions and avoid mistakes.
Regent’s University London also enjoys ‘Highly Trusted Partner’ status with the UK Visas and Immigration Office (UKVI) and is accredited to endorse the applications of up to 20 graduate entrepreneurs each year.
Information and advice is provided through interactive workshops to help students create a winning CV, write effective applications and perform at their best in interviews or assessment centres. Please click here for detailed information about the workshops.
The Business Relations team organises numerous events each semester. Most of these are exclusive to Regent's University London students and formats include company presentations, panel discussions and networking.
In addition to regular face-to-face contact with our expert staff, CBR offers a wide range of online resources to help you in your job search. These include our:
All CBR staff receive on-going training on how best to support you if you have a disability.
We can advise you on disclosing your disability or health condition to employers and discuss any benefits there may be, such as extra time to complete the online assessment tests that are often used as part of some recruitment processes.
In addition, we can point you to websites that offer unique opportunities and employers who will guarantee you an interview.
We regularly liaise with the Disability Officer to ensure we provide you with the most up-to-date information regarding changes to UK employment legislation, your rights and the opportunities available to you.

I have found that Regent’s students are well researched, passionate & serious about their own career path – they asked very relevant and well thought out questions of myself, and are genuinely interested in the responses. I also found the students focused on the ‘bigger, global picture’ rather than just business in their own sectors/ countries – as a recruiter for a multi-national, cross functional business I’m well positioned to advise that this is both a rare and very value added skill!
