Bespoke Course Case Study

University of North Carolina at Charlotte

UNC Charlotte run a faculty-led public relations course at Regent's College every year.  They study and explore international public relations through lecture, discussion and activities designed to acquaint students with the complexities of public relations practice across borders and cultures.  London is the 'centre of gravity' for international public relations practice, affording class participants with extraordinary opportunities for discussions with the discipline's leading figures.  Students make great use of our library and IT facilities to work on a variety of cases and exercises as part of the curriculum, and Regent's College faculty often lecture on their related areas of expertise.

"I found the lecturers and tutoring at the Regent’s American College London to be of very high quality. In particular, what I learnt about the British press and media has been invaluable for my work in PR. Combining academic studies with part time work was demanding and quite difficult at times. I think it is very important for students to broaden their outlook at the same time as studying, both socially and in taking on work projects. The faculty were very supportive in helping me achieve the right balance and get the most out of the experience."
