Visa & Immigration

European Union & European Economic Area Nationals (EEA)

Nationals of the EU and EEA, as well as Switzerland, will not require a visa to study in the UK.

The countries of the EEA are all the EU member states, in addition to Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.

Although you do not need a visa it would be advisable to carry your acceptance letter with you when you are entering the UK.

Non-EU or EEA Nationals

To find out if you need a student visa, you will need to contact the British Mission (Embassy, Consulate or High Commission) in your home country.

** NON-EU/EEA NATIONALS PLEASE CLICK HERE AND READ THIS INFORMATION CAREFULLY **

Details of all British representations abroad can be found at fco.gov.uk

Remember that it is your responsibility to check whether you need a visa and if so to ensure that you have the correct type. Rules and regulations in this area have become increasingly strict over the past few years and it is in your own interest to have everything in order

"I graduated from Exeter Business School with an HND in Business and Marketing after which, in September 2002, I joined RBS London. In May 2004, I graduated with a BA (Hons) International Marketing. Studying at RBS London was a big challenge and a lot of fun. One of the biggest challenges was keeping up with my work placement, while still enjoying my social events outside and inside college and most importantly my college work."
