We spoke to Adrien, a 2012 International Business graduate, to find out why he chose to support the Spirit of Regent’s campaign.
What motivated you to donate to the Spirit of Regent’s?
As an alumnus of Regent’s, I have cherished the University for helping me grow and for giving me exceptional support. The support I received from Regent’s during my years as a student was tremendous, and, if donating can help new and current students grow, I am more than happy to do so. The school does not receive any support from the government, and it is our role as alumni to support the new generation.
You made a gift towards the Entrepreneurs' Hub. What made you choose this particular area to support?
I wanted to give support to entrepreneurs at Regent’s. We live in difficult times, and I believe it is important to help develop new ideas and support students towards success. I encourage the sharing of knowledge and creativity; particularly when I can help students who are studying at the same school as I did.
What would you say to alumni who are considering making a gift?
Every help counts and it is our role to support the Spirit of Regent’s Fund. Who else can cherish the values of the University as we do, and understand how great it is to be able to invest income in order to maintain an excellent experience for future students?
What does the Spirit of Regent’s mean to you?
My Regent’s journey has stayed with me up to now, both in my education and in my professional life. I believe I have a role to play in students’ journeys, and in helping the new generation. My experience at Regent’s has made me part of who I am today, and I am dearly thankful for the support the University has given me.
