Professional Biography
Dr Lea Getu is Assistant Professor, Foundation Course leader and psychotherapist with extensive experience in clinical work and research. She has run her own practice 2002-present and worked within Primary Care and college setting for several years. She has taught counselling and psychotherapy skills, facilitated PPD groups and lectured on various topics on the foundation level at Regent's University London, 2009-present. As Foundation Course Leader, she is managing the Foundation Course. She researched for her PhD on the Complexities of Therapeutic work with Female-to-Female Child Sexual Abuse. She has specialised working with trauma.
