Rosamond is a Chartered Cognitive Psychologist and Senior Lecturer in Psychology at Regent's University London, who leads the BSc Psychology Programme.
Following completion of a First Class BSc (Hons) degree in psychology at the University of East London, she was awarded ‘1+3' funding from the ESRC to pursue an MSc in Research Methods in Psychology and a PhD at Goldsmiths College, University of London.
Rosamond has more than fourteen years' experience of teaching psychology at degree level in a number of higher education institutions, both undergraduate and postgraduate. She has taught Cognitive Psychology, Psychobiology, Cognitive Neuropsychology and Research Methods (both quantitative and qualitative) and has supervised many undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations in psychology, as well as currently supervising a PhD student. She has achieved Chartered Psychologist status with the British Psychological Society and Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy in recognition of her professionalism in teaching. She is also an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a Chartered Scientist.
Rosamond was selected as a finalist in ‘Perspectives’, a British Science Association initiative, and presented her research to the general public, media & press correspondents, Lord Drayson (Minister for Science), scientists & medical practitioners, schoolteachers & children, and college & university students at the British Science Festival in 2009. In the same year, she was the overall winner of the Postgraduate Teaching Award, sponsored by the Higher Education Academy Psychology Network. In 2020, she received an award for Excellence in Teaching from Regent's University London.
