Olivia has over 20 years of language teaching experience, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She worked in Japan for eight years teaching English and French as well as studying Japanese. When she returned to the UK she taught English for a private English language school and Japanese for Hounslow Adult Education Services. She was the Director of Studies for a busy English language school for eight years. She has also delivered sessions at teaching conferences for English UK and the London Languages Network.
Olivia joined Regent’s University in 2013. She teaches on all the courses offered by the centre including the IELTS and Pre-Sessional programmes.
In her spare time Olivia likes to travel independently, and some of her notable destinations include South America, Australia, the Middle East, the Far East, West Africa, North Africa, the Indian subcontinent, Easter Island and Cuba. She also enjoys cinema – particularly world cinema – reading, exploring London, visiting art galleries and being out in the countryside.
Olivia is currently studying for an MA in TESOL.
