2016 Conference

The 3rd Annual Youth Model United Nations Conference

2016 Conference Debriefing

Saturday & Sunday 2nd & 3rd July 2016

This year's conference will address some of the most pressing and rising concerns on the Agenda of the United Nations.  The world has experienced a number of complex events and crises in the past year, from the plight of refugees and challenges of sustainable development to the continuation of the conflict in Syria. We are also living in an environment where various groups are experiencing dangerous levels of isolation, justified by some in the name of fear. This year you will examine urgent crises, but you will also explore innovative, inclusive and creative opportunities for furthering the aims and principles of the United Nations.

Therefore, the theme of this 2016 Conference is:

"Building a Global Community"
