Five perks to living at Urbanest St Pancras

If you’ve not sorted your accommodation yet, panic not – we’ve got you covered. Regent’s has partnered with Urbanest St Pancras to offer you zone one studios and apartments. And the best part? Here are five perks we bet you didn’t know come with living at Urbanest!

1. Location, location, location

Urbanest St Pancras is set on the banks of London’s historic Regent’s Canal, and only a short walk from King’s Cross. That means you’ll have access to six London underground lines (Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria).

London St Pancras and King’s Cross rail terminals give easy access to the UK’s national rail network and London St Pancras International is home to the Eurostar, providing non-stop train services to mainland Europe – including Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris!

2. Creature comforts

Your choices of accommodation range from self-contained studios, shared duplex flats with en-suite, to two and three bedroom shared flats. Did we mention every bed has a high quality memory foam mattress to give you a great night’s sleep, and every room has luxurious underfloor heating which is controlled by an individual thermostat in your room to keep you warm in the winter months?

You’ll also have super-fast broadband, an on-site team 24/7 and free to use iMac stations. Need a snack in a hurry? You’ll have a supermarket onsite, meaning you don’t even have to leave the building to stay stocked up on your every day needs. There’s even a Temple of Seitan on site for those of us who like to indulge in a bit of junk food, but sustainably (if you haven’t been, it’s vegan).

3. It’ll be wheelie good for you

We’re all about sustainability, and we’re all (thankfully) aware of our carbon footprint. Urbanest St Pancras boasts a bike storage facility, with fold up bicycles which are available for you to use to get around town completely free of charge! You’ll also reduce smog, cut noise pollution and reduce water pollution in the process. Give yourself a pat on the back.

4. You can embrace your inner social butterfly

The building has a spacious reception area that doubles as a lounge and meeting point for residents and also contains a full sized table tennis table – a great spot for a social tournament, especially given you’ll be living alongside other Regent’s students! There are also excellent individual and group work areas, so you’re covered if you like a cheeky chat while studying, or if you need to be a lone wolf to meet your deadline.

The newly renovated seventh floor common room is a perfect place to relax with your new friends, watch TV and enjoy a game of pool or table football or just chill and take in the spectacular view of London, and the study room located on the ground floor has a range of places to concentrate on your latest assignment. It also has free-to-use iMac stations.

5. Proximity to central London

Did we mention that you’ll be quite literally in central London? On the edge of London’s vibrant King’s Cross Quarters, Urbanest London St Pancras has many bars, pubs, shops and restaurants on its doorstep.

Egg London is just a short walk away, and a mere 10 minute walk north of Urbanest St Pancras and you’ll find yourself in the world famous markets and shopping of Camden Town. Serving a variety of foods, and offering a cinema, street markets and variety of music venues including the Jazz Café, Koko, the Electric Ballroom and the Roundhouse, you’ll never run out of things to do.

Fancy a sneak peek? Get in touch with the Accommodation team with any enquiries – but there's only a total of 81 rooms, so you best get your skates on!
