Judy Piatkus founded her first publishing company in her early 20s with a partner. After four years she sold her half-share to him and with the money from the sale, she went on to found Piatkus Books from the bedroom of her home.
Piatkus grew to become one of the most successful independent publishing companies in the English-speaking world. It was known for lifestyle and fiction. In 2007 Judy completed a successful sale of the company to Little Brown, just before the credit crunch.
Judy was described by The London Times in 2009 as ‘one of the world’s leading thinkers’. She now focuses on helping people develop their skills and confidence.
Hardeep is a business management professional and successful entrepreneur with over 16 years’ experience in financial services including working for Newton Investment Management and Gartmore Investment Management where he was Chief Operating Officer, Investments.
Hardeep has also been involved with several boutique private equity and wealth management firms working within investor relations and business development. He also advises and assists start-up businesses and has successfully raised seed funding for several of them.
Noelle's life in the fashion world started at the age of 13 when she was scouted from her hometown of Seattle, USA, by Elite Models. Noelle modelled internationally whilst finishing her education. She attended the British American College of London at Regents University London on scholarship, receiving a BA in Communications with Honours in 2007.
Whilst at University, Noelle built her first company, Degrees of Freedom; a luxury cashmere collection with a fashion edge. The line was sold at leading department stores (Harrods, Saks, Tsum, Villa Moda, etc), gained a strong celebrity following, and was featured in numerous fashion publications.
Noelle is also currently a Presenter for Fashion TV which reaches over 350 million viewers in 192 countries.by Elite Models
Luke Levene started his career in animation, directing and producing commercials and music videos for artists such as Marc Ronson and Lily Allen. He went on to found several new companies including Kazoo Creative Studios, Salon D’Été, Vivavoucher and Zoobe. The last of these projects was an interactive mobile animation communication platform in Berlin, which grew to being valued at around £14 million within 5 years. Luke is a Regent’s alumnus.
