Prof Inés Kayon de Miller, Prof Richard Kiely and Dr Assia Rolls present this workshop as part of Regent’s Institute of Languages and Culture's spring workshop series.
Location: Regent's University London Park campus
Prof Miller will focus on Exploratory Practice, an investigative approach to life in classrooms that empowers teachers and learners as the main agents who can work to understand their own teaching and learning practices.
Within the ‘ethical’ and principled theoretical framework of this approach, Dr Rolls, Prof Kiely and her colleagues will report on an on-going project on the journeys of teachers as researchers- the challenges, the issues and the strategies that teachers of French, Italian, Japanese, Spanish and English have used to enable them to stay on the task of researching their learning and teaching environment.
