Regent's Institute of Languages & Culture is proud to host the official launch of ELE-UK, the UK Association for the teaching and learning of Spanish in Higher and Further Education.
ELE-UK is an organisation of teachers of Spanish in Higher and Further Education institutions in the UK. ELE-UK aims to be a platform for colleagues specialised in Spanish language teaching to meet and share their expertise and experience in the field. The Association will hold conferences, practitioners’ workshops and specialised lectures to which international and UK based participants, both members and non-members will be welcome.
Regent's Institute of Languages & Culture will collaborate with ELE-UK in promoting teaching and learning of Spanish. The Pathway Leader in Spanish, Amparo Lallana, is the current Chair of ELE-UK (interim).
Regent's Institute of Languages & Culture offers a varied programme of language learning and support. Spanish language is the largest language programme of the nine languages provided in the Institute with over 250 students each year choosing Spanish as a core language for their degree. Most of those students of Spanish spend a year studying at one or two of our Partner Institutions in Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Spain or Uruguay.
This event will be held on the Regent's University London park campus.
