About this event

'When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life' – Samuel Johnson

Join our next webinar to discover more about London and its culture: from popular books and music to afternoon tea. Our senior English Language teacher, Jean, will discuss contemporary London through the eyes of a local resident who's passionate about the city.

Meet Jean:

Jean started teaching English as a Foreign Language in Hong Kong many years ago. On returning to the UK, she gained her CELTA and DELTA qualifications and worked in the private education sector in language schools in London, teaching students of all ages and nationalities. In addition to teaching, she has wide experience of teacher training – both academic and general management. Her previous positions include Academic Director and Principal of a language school.

Jean’s interests include reading, foreign languages and cultures, cinema and exploring all areas of London. She also enjoys singing in a choir and growing plants on her allotment.
