About the course

This degree teaches you to how to combine traditional filmmaking techniques with new technology – ensuring you’re ready to enter the fast-paced, ever-changing film industry. You will be able to choose from one of the three pathways below:

  • BA (Hons) Film & Screen (Film Production) 
  • BA (Hons) Film & Screen (Screenwriting & Producing) 
  • BA (Hons) Film & Screen (TV & Digital Media) 

Speakers

Tristan Tull

Tristan has a background in production that includes television, film, community and corporate work. He has taught degree courses in television, scriptwriting and producing and directing.

For three years Tristan held the role of Skillset Screen Academy Associate, devising and project managing training in filmmaking. For the past three years, he has been closely involved in the running of a European Union film skills programme that mentors teams of scriptwriters, producers and directors in developing first features.

 

Phil Hughes

Phil Hughes is a screenwriter for film and television. He has developed numerous feature film and television scripts over the years. He has worked with some of the major producers in the UK and has also developed projects in Hollywood. He has two produced feature films to his name and a number of television credits.
