Our teams compete in different national and regional university leagues and tournaments including; British University College Sports (BUCS), London University Sports League (LUSL) and the School University Polo Association (SUPA).

We love to support and celebrate our teams sporting achievements

Our Men’s Football team finished top of the division two LUSL league for the 2017/2018 season; after an impressive season of consecutive wins. The 2018/2019 season will spark the inception of our new Men’s football second team and the club’s participation in the BUCS Southeastern League, for the first time in Regent’s history.

Our Men’s Basketball team reached the LUSL Cup Final for the 2017/ 2018 season, where they narrowly missed out on claiming the title. This was the first Regent’s team to ever progress this far and reach the LUSL cup final match.

Our Polo teams compete in Winter and Summer SUPA National tournaments. In the 2017/ 2018 Winter Nationals Regent’s had both a beginner and Lower Intermediate team competing in the tournament.  This was the first time Regent’s had two teams enter for the University Nationals Tournament. In partnership with the Federation of International Polo, Regent’s offers two Polo Scholarships places each year for new and current excelling polo playing students.

Our Women’s basketball team is one of the newest teams that joined Regent’s Sport for the 2017/2018, funded by Sport England. This team was our first female only competitive sports team that have represented Regent’s in LUSL competitions.

“The best way to move, have fun, de-stress and make new friends!”

Winner of the Regent's Innovation Award 2018.

“Be-active” is our on campus recreational sports programme focused on beginners students to encourage them to give sports a go. There are no membership fees and all the sessions are free for all students. Students can book their place for Zumba, Yoga, Cardio tennis and … much more.

Be-active is beyond simply offering sports in our beautiful wellbeing studio but rather to promote a very positive approach to engaging with fitness. The success of the programme has led to a wider range of trendy, engaging and dynamic classes…stay tuned!

The positive drive of Be-active will continue to enhance the student experience and general students’ wellbeing.

Look out for Be Active Regent’s sessions across campus. These free sessions are open to all students
