A friend of Jan’s who had read about Regent’s recommended it to him. When he saw a film about the university on the Facebook page, it helped him to decide that studying English at Regent’s was the right move.
Programme: IELTS Exam Course
I want to improve my English skills and I’m taking the course as I want to study at a university in Denmark. To have a qualification from an English university is something Danish universities value a lot when they are selecting students. I think that I have learned a lot about the English language, and I feel I am more competent and fluent, although I do find some of the English grammar very difficult.
I have learned a lot about myself, and it’s made me think more about my future plans for my education. I have learned a lot about many countries that up until now, I had only read about in the newspapers.
I think it’s really nice that the school arranges many social engagements where you can meet and talk to people from all over campus. I really enjoy the volleyball and pub night with Jonathan every Thursday. I like to talk and learn about the others students’ cultures and their respective countries. Regent’s is so diverse. I now have friends from all over the globe, and it’s really expanded my outlook on life. I have learned a lot about different cultures and I have learned something about how people from the rest of the world think about people from Denmark.
