We are delighted to announce Regent’s participation in two postgraduate scholarships, specifically for prospective students of Indian nationality who hold unconditional offers for September 2016.
Regent’s has five £6,000 scholarships available. These are jointly funded by the GREAT campaign and Regent’s University London.
The GREAT Britain campaign is the UK Government’s most ambitious international marketing campaign to date. It showcases the very best of what Britain has to offer in order to encourage the world to visit, study and do business with the UK. It supports the Prime Minister’s ‘global race for growth’ and the Olympic Legacy programme. The campaign is currently active in over 86 countries. GREAT unifies the international growth promotion efforts of UK Trade & Investment, VisitBritain, the British Council and the Foreign & Commonwealth Office. The campaign aims to deliver significant and long-term increases in trade, tourism, education and inward investment, in support of the government’s prosperity and growth agenda.
British Prime Minister Cameron and Indian Prime Minister Modi have jointly declared 2016 to be the UK-India Year of Education, Research and Innovation. GREAT Scholarships firmly reiterate our commitment to this year of enhanced collaboration between the two countries.
This will fund young Indians to pursue a Masters in the UK and will cover part or full tuition fees for an amount up to £12,500.
