Regent’s University London has been awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) which enables participation in the Erasmus+ programme and is valid from 2014-2020.
Regent's will provide Erasmus students with recognition for credits taken along with grants for students studying at Erasmus partners to financially support them while abroad.
Erasmus funding is also available to Regent's staff who take part in teaching or training opportunities at Erasmus partners and other training activities.
Erasmus+ started on 1 January 2014 and replaces current funding programmes run by the European Commission in the area of education, training, youth and sport. It aims to boost skills and employability to modernise education, training and youth work and with a total budget of €14.7 billion, the programme will be worth €940 million to the UK over seven years.
