Students from Regent's College London participated in the IBM Universities Business Simulation Challenge (UBC) 2012-13.
The College entered three undergraduate teams in the prestigious competition which attracted over 310 teams from universities across the United Kingdom. The teams were a mixture of students in different levels of their studies from the European Business School, Regents American College London and Regents Business School London programmes.
It was mission accomplished in round one for Regent's College London - Team AO3. One of the smallest teams in the competition, Regent's AO3 led by Andre Georgi with Tim Cholibois and Mauricio Vidania, cruised ahead from the beginning and triumphed as group winner to progress into one of the national semi-finals.
Their admirable achievement kept the tradition of past Regents' teams qualification into the semi-final for this prestigious national challenge event.
80 University teams will be competing in eight regional semi-finals venues to be held around the United Kingdom during February and March 2013. Regent's AO3 will be competing for a place in the final at the RSA - London, on Friday 8th March 2012 with University of Exeter, University of Liverpool, University of Manchester, University of East Anglia, Plymouth Business School, University of Brighton, City University – CASS Business School, Anglia Ruskin University, and Canterbury Chris Church University.
