Regent's team in UK IBM UBC semi-final 2014

Regent’s students are through to the UK IBM Universities Business Challenge (UBC) semi-final 2013/14.

Team AL3 Delta Force, one of the smallest teams in the competition, will now be in the semi-final at home at Regent’s University London, on Thursday 6 March 2014. The winning team from each regional semi-final will compete in the UK final scheduled for late March 2014 and will be held at IBM UK, Southbank London.

The University entered two undergraduate teams, AL3 Delta Force and AK3 Phoenix, in the prestigious competition which attracted over 310 teams from 61 universities and 70 faculties across the UK. The teams were a mixture of students in different levels of their undergraduate studies and this year was the first time that the BA International Events Management programme participated in the competition.

Regent's AL3 Delta Force was led by team captain Raoul Hamelmann along with Thang Hong Vu and Sophie Ritter all from the European Business School. Commiserations to AK3 Phoenix who narrowly missed out on the semi-final and was led by Team Captain Najib Taousse, Caterina Schindler, Salih Erman Dogu from Regent’s American College London and Paige Henke from the European Business School.
