Interior Design students to be interviewed by leading design agencies

As part of Regent’s University London’s continued commitment to delivering industry relevant learning experiences, the Interior Design programme will welcome senior directors from Imagination and Household into its studios.

Three representatives from the leading design agencies based in London will interview final year students on May 7th and 8th at the School of Fashion & Design.

Paulo Pimentel, Creative Director, and Kate Walmsley, Senior 3D Designer, from Imagination, will talk to students taking ‘Portfolio & Professional Studies.’

Imagination is an independent, global creative agency which uses its resources to embrace a multi-disciplinary approach to design in order to imagine a more creative future for their clients, which include British Airways, BBC, Land Rover and The Body Shop.

Sarah Page, Creative Director from Household will continue the interviews on 8th May. Household is a design consultancy that creates emotionally connected, high performing customer experiences. Their clients include Harrods, Boots and Waitrose.

At both sessions, students will be asked to explain and defend their ideas and projects professionally set out in their final portfolios. The exercise will sharpen students’ interviewing techniques as they respond to questions and comments, and also showcases the best forthcoming graduate work for the firms to potentially recruit from.
