I'm from a small town in the French Alps. I'm what you can call an ‘extreme sports addict’, I've always been passionate about wakeboard, kitesurf and started to learn different flying sports, speedriding, paragliding and skydive the same year I started studying at Regent’s. What's good about being a student is that you have time to try new things.
Following my Global Financial Management degree at Regent's I decided I wanted to go to a place I have never been before. I ended up in Shanghai working in sales and marketing for an IT and web development company. The experience was amazing and I felt I wanted to learn more about entrepreneurship so I decided to apply for a Masters at IE business school in Madrid. The program opened my eyes to a digital world I was already interested in.
After some more travels in Latin America I found work at Paymentwall, a digital based payment company in Berlin where I worked for 6 months. I think I got fired from this company because I was taking too much initiative and the CEO was expecting someone that would follow his orders instead.
I didn't have a job anymore and thought it would be interesting to try to launch my own website. My friend from my Masters in Madrid was fired from the same company but had always dreamt of creating a revolutionary school. Elearning is something that always fascinated me so I decided to work with him on the project we are doing now, Elearnhero.
Our mission with Elearnhero is to help entrepreneurs and startups find courses to accelerate their business.
We started with a blog talking about some Elearning platforms that we really like and now have a selection of courses that range from Management, Sales and Marketing, Design and Technology.
Our ultimate goal is to create an online and offline space for entrepreneurs to start and grow their business. Our goal is to be an online incubator and to have some physical space to share with other entrepreneurs as well.
I can still recall a precise moment at the age of 12 when I felt stuck where I was and I was not allowed to do anything because I was too young. From this time, and possibly even earlier, my dream was to be independent. I dreamt of being completely free from anyone telling me what I should or shouldn’t do. This is probably the reason why I like flying and motorcycle road trips so much.
Being an entrepreneur is a way for me to do my own projects without anybody interfering with my vision. I believe that being educated is the best way to becoming independent. Elearnhero is my way of giving a hand to the people that also want to become independent.
