University closure due to snow

*Update 04/03/2018* The University will be fully open as usual on Monday 5 March.

After last week’s difficult conditions, the weather and public transport are both returning to normal. We do not expect any further disruption.

We are sorry for any inconvenience over the past few days. After the suspension of teaching on Thursday and Friday, students will be contacted over the next week about any teaching that needs to be rescheduled. Thank you for your understanding.

*Update 01/03/2018* The weather forecast for the rest of today and tomorrow remains poor and conditions are unlikely to improve overnight. This will continue to have an adverse impact on public transport and therefore on staff and students’ ability to get into the University.

Both the Park and Marylebone sites will be closed again tomorrow, Friday 2 March, for all but essential operational services such as security and catering for Reid Hall students.

All teaching will be cancelled tomorrow - Friday 2 March.

We will continue to monitor the situation over the weekend and would ask all students and staff to check their emails, our social media channels and either the Student Hub or staff intranet for an update on conditions. However, we expect to be fully open again on Monday 5 March.

Keep warm, keep safe, and take care in icy conditions.
