For those with an interest in Organisational Development and business optimisation, David Evans leads a discussion about the HR function and its image within the corporate world.
David Evans will briefly trace the development of the function and contextualise it in its organisational framework. Together we will seek to understand its role, its challenges and its opportunities. This will be a challenging, thought-provoking and interactive session, at the end of which we will all have our own view about the leading question which introduces it.
David started his career in consumer-goods marketing and general management, has extensive experience in people development, change management, business improvement and strategy-delivery. He has also been involved in organisational development and in developing human resource applications and systems.
A consultant for the last 13 years, he has led a large number of consulting projects and change programmes. Clients have included Coca-Cola, Europe; British Energy; Network Rail as well as many other international organisations.
