‘I was seeking an MA in international business that would be recognised internationally, possess a very diverse student body and would offer a degree that would equip me with clear competitive advantages over universities globally. Regent’s fulfilled these requirements and gave me the opportunity to work in London during the 2012 Olympics. I am very grateful to have attended Regent’s University London.
The Careers and Business Relation’s team helped me refine my message, identify my most marketable skills and restored my confidence in the interview process. I found their coaching and guidance extremely beneficial as it led to my attainment of a 6-month paid internship.
My career path has been enhanced due to the additional experience while their online resources helped me understand my career options and what they entailed.
Oxford Business Group (OBG) held a lecture on emerging markets on Regent’s campus in partnership with the careers department. I have to admit, I was extremely impressed with the quality of the presentation and the people. I spoke with their CEO and their previous intern that day, both of which quickly captured my interest in OBG’s intern position.
I would recommend CBR to others, careers services are left unutilised by far too many students. I have substantial job experience compared to most of my peers and I found careers services to be very beneficial. I recommend every student speak to a careers advisor at least once to understand what type of support and opportunities they have to offer.’
Greg went on to jointly organise further OBG events on campus with the Careers and Business Relations department for Regent’s University students and those from other London business schools.
