experience and placements

We strongly encourage our students to undertake work experience both to test out careers ideas and to develop the necessary skills for employability and professionalism.

Some of our programmes include a compulsory work placement element:

BA in International Business and BA in International Events Management

30-week work placement requirement

Students are required to complete 30 weeks of work placement (in 10 week blocks) during their time at Regent’s.

MA Global Management

Students can opt for an 8-week (40 days) work placement module where they work with Regent’s University staff to find a work placement that matches their profile.

Regent's School of Drama, Film & Media

As part of every BA programme in this school, students undertake a six-week work placement in the summer following their second year of studies.

MA/PGDip in Psychotherapy & Counselling
MPhil/PhD in Psychotherapy

Students are required to complete 100 hours for the MA (and to progress to Advanced Diploma) and 450 hours of counselling or clinical placement for the MPhil/PhD.
