English Language Centre accommodation

No matter the duration of your studies as an English Language Centre student, we have a range of accommodation options, both on and off campus, to suit your needs.

Please note that we can only accommodate English Language Centre students aged over 18 in Reid Hall on campus.

On-campus accommodation

Our halls of residence, Reid Hall, is set in leafy campus grounds – a quiet haven in which to live and study. It houses around 200 students in a mix of single and twin rooms over four floors – with free WIFI access. A twin room is around 130 square feet (with two beds, two desks, two wardrobes and two chairs) and a single is around 155 square feet.

Each floor has three communal bathrooms (with around five students per bathroom), and, while the rooms include meal credit to be used in the University's range of dining outlets, there is also a pantry on each floor, providing you with access to a microwave, kettle and sink. For more information on meal credit, please see below.

The hall also contains a launderette which is located on the second floor, and a reception which is staffed 24 hours a day, with three live-in resident assistants. The campus itself maintains a 24-hour security presence, ensuring a safe and comfortable stay.

Meet and greet

The English Language Centre can help you to arrange transfers to and from major London airports and train stations. We use an external, experienced, licensed transfer provider.

Travel information

If you choose to live off-campus and use public transport to travel to Regent’s, we’d recommend a weekly travelcard from Transport for London (TfL).

London is split into nine zones and the cost of a card will depend on where you’re staying. Regent’s is located in Zone 1, so any card you purchase will need to cover the cost of travel between Zone 1 and the zone you’re staying in.

In order to qualify for student discount, you must be enrolled on a course that lasts for 14 weeks or more and apply online for an 18+ Student Oyster photocard.
