Olga Helly

Olga Helly is a lecturer in Russian with extensive experience in teaching Russian as a foreign language at all levels, both to individuals and groups. She started her teaching career as a language lecturer at the Moscow State University. She has extensive experience in designing courses and programs both for students of all levels and post-graduates.

Apart from her lectureship in Regent’s University London she held a position of a language consultant for the London Metropolitan University MA course in Applied Linguistics for 5 years.

She is also a qualified interpreter, translator and a trained radio journalist/producer who previously worked for the BBC World Service, Russian Service as a full-time member of staff for 13 years, and is now working for the BBC World Service as a freelance producer. Olga has also performed external examiner duties in a number of universities including Hull University, King’s College London and LBS.
