Professional Biography

After a career in the corporate world Amelia changed direction and started her training to be a psychotherapist here at Regent's University London. 

As part of her training, she worked in the NHS for eight years in secondary mental health in a multi-disciplinary team. Amelia also worked for EASE wellbeing as a lead clinician and supervisor within NHS GP surgeries. She has been an associate lecturer at Regent's since 2010. She is currently a module leader on the Foundation Certificare, and she also supervises trainee therapists on the MA programme (now MProf). Alongside her teaching, Amelia has a private practice in Hampstead.

  • ADEP, Regent's School of Psychotherapy & Psychology, Regent's University London
  • MA, Psychotherapy and Counselling, Regent's University London (Research and Dissertation on the embedded attitudes of the therapist) Regent’s College and validated by University of Wales
  • BA (Hons), French Literature and Language, University of Sheffield
