Daniel Millan Gutierrez

English Language Teacher

About me

My name is Daniel and I’m an English Language Teacher at Regent’s School of English. My job is to prepare students to be able to face the challenges of learning English and to enjoy themselves whilst being in the UK, making the most of their experience as travellers or future students of the University. I first started teaching here towards the end of 2021, and one of the things I like about working here is having the chance to meet people from all over the world with different perspectives on life.

During my career I have worked in different sectors: I spent five years working in areas related to arc welding, including virtual-reality training and, later on, in robotic applications.  I particularly enjoyed working on diverse types of aluminium, a material which is especially difficult to weld.  After this, I spent several years in the travel industry working at a couple of hotel chains, before starting my career in English language teaching in 2019.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time in nature, visiting new places in the UK and creating things from scratch.
