Dr Jorge F. Guedes

Dr Jorge F. Guedes is a senior executive consultant, academic, and thought leader with extensive experience in driving digital transformation across global industries, governments, and higher education institutions. With a consulting background that includes leadership roles at SAP, PwC, and KPMG, he currently heads the Programme Advisory Network at Capgemini’s Global SAP Centre of Excellence, where he advises on complex transformation programmes across diverse sectors and geographies.

In addition to his consulting work, Dr Guedes serves on several strategic advisory boards, including the MBA Advisory Board at the University of Nottingham Business School, the ESALQ Campus Advisory Board at the University of São Paulo, and the Stirling Centre for Strategic Learning and Innovation. He is also the founder of The Workshop Society, a global initiative dedicated to accelerating digital adoption and education, with active programmes spanning four continents.

Dr Guedes holds a PhD in Strategic Management from ISCTE-IUL, with research conducted in collaboration with the London School of Economics, where he was a Visiting Research Student. His academic contributions include peer-reviewed publications in the fields of digital strategy, transformation, and adoption. He lectures and conducts research at institutions in the UK and Portugal and is a frequent keynote speaker and guest lecturer across Europe.
