About me
My name is Maria and I’m a Senior English Language Teacher at Regent’s School of English. I’ve taught in many different contexts and places but what makes Regent’s a great place to work is that the teachers are dedicated to their craft and care about their students’ progress.
I began teaching in Japan before moving to Italy where I taught all ages and a wide range of levels. I initially began teaching as a way to live abroad and study languages, but I soon became fascinated by the process of language learning. I undertook further study to try and understand how I can improve my teaching skills, but it’s really the students themselves who teach me so much on a daily basis.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, walking the streets of London and trying to stop my Italian from getting too rusty.
