Professional Biography

Victoria has extensive experience of teaching and learning at undergraduate level, within the discipline of fashion communication, specifically in the area of styling and creative direction. Throughout her career, Victoria has worked across many fashion disciplines, including styling for commercial, editorial and music clients, and began her career assisting at 'Dazed and Confused/Another' Magazine.

This experience led Victoria to working with music clients at EMI Records, a TV role with Maverick TV, and commercial roles, ranging from developing and implementing brand guidelines at brands including ASOS, Ben Sherman, Electric Tees, and Levine London, and creative agencies including Big Light.

She has also developed e-commerce content for brands and retailers including George, F+F and Boden. Alongside styling, Victoria has been employed in the trends sector, as a producer at WGSN, and creating bespoke trend insights for the brand Henri Lloyd, alongside designing CAD’s for Jane Norman and other commercial womenswear brands.

Teaching & Course Development

As a lecturer in Fashion Marketing and Fashion Communications, Victoria has taught on undergraduate programmes at all levels, at institutions including Arts University Bournemouth (AUB), University for the Creative Arts, Birmingham City University and De Montfort University.

Victoria has also been involved in the writing and course development for a specialist BA (Hons) programme in Fashion Branding and Communication in her role at AUB.
