About Robert
Robert Wigley sits at the crossroads of global finance, public policy, and technology. Former EMEA Chair of Merrill Lynch, he led a 23-country platform of roughly 9,000 staff and 500bn in AUM through the years around the global financial crisis; He served on the Court of the Bank of England and, now, chairs UK Finance, representing 300+ firms across banking, payments and markets. He is a partner at Seraphim Space and PE fund Cap 10 Partners. Alongside board roles, he mentors founders as an angel investor, chaired Victoria Beckham Ltd's, and authored Born Digital: The Story of a Distracted Generation - bringing a rare systems-level perspective.
