Vera Zazirnaya, a student on Regent’s MA International Fashion Marketing course, recently attended a Dolce & Gabbana show during Milan Fashion Week, gaining first-hand experience of the global fashion industry.
The visit closely aligned with her studies, where students have recently explored PR communications at fashion shows. Vera noted that the experience will help her apply her learning in practice during an upcoming Regent’s Elective module this September.
‘I can’t wait to study the Fashion PR Regent’s Elective now that I’ve experienced an international fashion show first-hand. Seeing how major shows are structured and how professionals interact gave me a much deeper understanding of what we’ve been learning.’
Vera also highlighted the importance of networking - something strongly encouraged throughout her course.
‘Our lecturers always emphasise building connections, and experiencing Fashion Week showed me how vital that is in practice.’
