Regent’s Business student awarded Highly Commended at AMBA & BGA Excellence Awards 2026

Regent’s is proud to announce that BA (Hons) Business and Management graduate Liv Heinemann has been awarded with highly commended in the BGA Student of the Year category at the AMBA & BGA Excellence Awards 2026. A prestigious global awards programme celebrating excellence across the international business education community.

The BGA Student of the Year 2026 is one of 13 categories in the AMBA & BGA Excellence Awards, recognising outstanding business schools, students, graduates and initiatives that demonstrate distinction across the global network. This year’s awards highlight the quality of work taking place across AMBA & BGA–accredited institutions, celebrating achievements in institutional leadership, course innovation and student and graduate success.

The BGA Student of the Year 2026 award recognises students who have demonstrated exceptional career potential, who the BGA believes could be ambassadors for their business school community – of which Regent’s is a member. The award has a strong focus on leadership potential and career progression, as well as academic achievement.  

Regent’s is delighted to congratulate 2025 graduate Liv Heinemann, who was highly commended in this category, on this significant international recognition and celebrate her success.

Liv Heinemann said: ‘Receiving recognition from AMBA and BGA is a meaningful milestone. My time at Regent’s University London has been shaped by an inspiring academic community and opportunities to take initiative, build projects from the ground up, and work closely with students and faculty who challenge and support each other. I am grateful for the guidance of Professor Vincent Ong and for everyone who has been part of this journey. This experience has strengthened my ambition to continue creating impact through leadership and collaboration.’
