Regent’s is proud to announce that seven of its graduating students have been selected as recipients of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Student Excellence Award 2025–26.
The CMI is one of a wide range of professional partners, membership bodies and accrediting organisations Regent’s works with to deliver a transformative education rich in industry connections and real-world experience. This prestigious award recognises students who have successfully completed their studies and the CMI dual award, while also making a meaningful contribution to their course and the wider university community.
Award recipients typically demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and a strong commitment to personal and professional development. They also exhibit leadership and management capabilities that positively influence others, effectively apply their learning within employment, business, programme activities or extracurricular initiatives, and actively engage with CMI and its wider professional network.
Regent’s is delighted to congratulate the following 2026 graduates on this well-deserved recognition:
- Alexey Zak (MA Management, Leadership and Organisational Change)
- Benedetta Cigada (MSc Finance and Private Equity)
- Catherine Michelle Bartlett (MA Entrepreneurship)
- Celine Qun Hui Heng (MA International Business)
- Jessica Lampi (MSc Digital Marketing and Analytics)
- Martine Saethrum Skard (MSc Marketing Psychology)
- Nihira Harshad Gulhane (MA Luxury Brand Management)
All their achievements throughout their studies have been outstanding, and this award is a testament to each student’s academic success and their wider contribution to the University community.
Professor Marco Mongiello, Head of School of Business, commented: ‘I am delighted to see so many students from Regent’s School of Business recognised with the CMI Student Excellence Award. It is a true testament to the academic dedication and community spirit we champion, and it underscores the high-quality teaching, industry connections and pastoral support Regent’s students benefit from.’
Jessica Lampi, MSc Digital Marketing and Analytics graduate and award recipient, said: 'The MSc Digital Marketing & Analytics at Regent's encouraged me to think beyond the numbers and understand how data, consumer behaviour and strategic marketing come together to solve real business challenges.
It strengthened both my analytical and leadership skills, while giving me the confidence to communicate insights in a way that drives action.
Combined with the CMI qualification, the course has had a lasting impact on my career and continues to shape the work I do every day at dunnhumby. I'm so grateful to my lecturers for their support throughout the journey, and to be recognised with this award as I celebrate my graduation is a real privilege.’
Alexey Zak, MA Management graduate and award recipient, said: ‘Regent’s attracts ambitious, talented people from every corner of the world, and to be chosen from among them as a CMI Student Excellence Award recipient is the great honour and privilege of my academic career.
Everything I achieved this year came from showing up consistently, asking insightful questions, and treating every classmate as someone to learn from and collaborate with - habits I encourage anyone who walks through these doors for their own academic journey to embrace. In receiving this award, I hope I’ve been a positive example of this and that the students who follow will continue to set the bar even higher for what it means to be a Regent’s student.’
