We spoke to Regent’s alumna Paulina Ramos, MA Luxury Brand Management (2026), now a Partnerships Executive for Harrods, about how the course helped to deepen her understanding and experience of the luxury sector – from industry connections to global perspectives.

A global perspective on luxury
Studying Luxury Brand Management at Regent’s was a great experience, full of new knowledge and people.
It gave me a global perspective on luxury and introduced me to theories and concepts I probably wouldn’t have come across by working in the industry alone.
Exploring a wide range of luxury sectors
What I really appreciated was the 360-degree approach to luxury. Rather than focusing on a single industry or sector, we explored a wide range of sectors, including hospitality, fashion, fine jewellery and more, giving us a really full picture of what ‘luxury’ looks and feels like in each one.
Invaluable industry connections
For me, the biggest highlight was the industry connections and the people you meet throughout the programme.
We had several guest speakers join us to share their perspective and hands-on experience on the luxury industry, but what really made a difference for me was being able to continue those wider conversations one-on-one afterwards. It gave me a brilliant insight into the business behind the scenes at a range of luxury brands and sectors.
Shaping my future career
Regent’s helped me move forward in my career because it gave me the opportunity to broaden my experience on an international level, something which has been incredibly valuable.
Why study Luxury Brand Management?
My advice if you’re thinking about studying Luxury Brand Management? Just go for it! It's a journey that could potentially shape your future career.
